About the role
Connex Education is working a number of schools in and around the Redcar and Cleveland area who come to Connex for Teaching Assistant Support. We are looking to recruit and register qualified teaching assistants to work with us for the remainder of the academic year.
About the schools
The schools we work with are looking for a Teaching Assistants who hold either an EYFS or Level 2 or 3 Qualification and can be a key person in supporting generally in the classroom but also being open to 1:1 work.
Assignment Details
We are looking for Teaching Assistants who have full time availability working Monday to Friday, the right candidate MUST be able to work form 8:30am – 3:30pm. Experience working within schools, placements, nurseries or with special educational needs is essential for this role. The school may be able to accommodate part time hours, therefore if you can work 3 full days per week or 5 mornings per week you are still encouraged to apply.

Person Specification
- Hold a Relevant Qualification in SEND, EYFS or Teaching Assistant – essential
- Have experience of supporting pupils in a school or similar setting
- Be confident working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis
- Good Knowledge of either EYFS/KS1 or KS2 curriculum
- Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one with Connex
