This is an Ofsted ‘outstanding’ rated school situated in West Bridgford, Nottingham. Reports state that ‘pupils are keen to attend school’ and that ‘the staff feel well supported’ in this school. This is a large mixed academy with pupils aged 11-18, providing staff with the opportunity to engage with a range of pupils. ‘The School’s Guide’ has rated this school as excellent in areas such as environment and progress. West Bridgford is a beautiful town situated next to central Nottingham and is easily accessible by public transport.
Vacancy Details:
- Maths Teacher.
- Full time teacher timetable.
- Main duties include but are not limited to:
- Teaching Ks3 and Ks4 Maths, this will also include lesson planning and assessment / marking of pupil work.
- Assisting pupils requiring one-to-one intervention or support.
- Covering other non-maths teaching lessons in school as and when required (this is statutory requirement of all permanently employed staff within the school).
Candidate Requirements:
To be considered for this role candidates must have / be able to demonstrate:
- Holding Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) proven by providing your Teacher Reference Number.
- Experience of working as a teacher in a British curriculum school for a minimum of two terms since obtaining QTS.
- Full enhanced DBS certificate.
- Completion of the Connex Education Onboarding Process.
- The ability to show a genuine desire and passion for working as a teacher.
- A minimum of 2 school based references.
