About the Role
Connex Education is working in partnership with a range of primary schools across DE23 (Littleover and nearby areas) who are looking for dependable Teaching Assistants to provide flexible classroom support.
You will be supporting across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 on a day-to-day and short-term basis, helping pupils access learning and stay engaged.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
- Assisting the teacher in maintaining a calm and productive classroom
- Encouraging pupils to stay focused and involved in lessons

Person Specification
- Recent UK-based experience working with children is essential
- Comfortable supporting pupils one-to-one and in small groups
- Strong communication skills and a patient approach
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
