School Business Manager

Connex Education are working with a welcoming Primary school in Bradford assisting them in recruiting an experienced Business Manager
This is a full-time, long-term role covering the entire academic year, offering an excellent opportunity to become a valued member of a busy school office. This role has the potrntial to become permanent.
The Role:
- The School Business Manager is a leading professional in the school, accountable to the Headteacher. They will serve on the School’s Leadership Team. They will be instrumental in developing and supporting the strategic management of the school and in providing vision, leadership and direction for the school.
- Previous experience working as a school business manager is essential
- Make decisions and take responsibility as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
- Attend SLT and Governor meetings in line with school requirements. #
- Contribute to the strategic development of the school
- Be responsible for informing Governors of any changes to financial legislation and reviewing and updating the school’s financial policies and procedures.
- Manage, and be responsible for, the administration of the LMS Financial Systems regarding income and expenditure across all budget headings, including balancing the monthly financial tabulations and the preparation of monthly financial reports showing income and expenditure across all budget areas.
- Manage the school office and to be responsible for the leadership and management of the administrative staff, providing support and guidance and delegating responsibilities as appropriate.
- lead recruitment, performance management, appraisal, training and development for all administrative staff.
