About the Role
Connex Education is working with a number of primary schools across DE21 (Chaddesden and nearby areas) who are looking to recruit Teaching Assistants to support on a flexible supply basis.
You will be working across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, supporting pupils throughout the school day and helping to maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing support to pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom routines
- Supporting behaviour management in line with school policies
- Encouraging pupils to stay focused and engaged in their learning

Person Specification
- Recent UK-based experience working with children (school-based preferred)
- Confident supporting pupils one-to-one and in small groups
- Strong communication skills and a calm, professional approach
- Reliable and able to adapt to different school environments
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
