About the role
Connex Education are looking for Teaching Assistants to work on a day-to-day supply basis, as well as short to long term placements. These roles involve supporting both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes, offering general classroom assistance as well as one-to-one or small group support, depending on the needs of each school. Person Specification
- Experience working with children aged 4–11 in a UK primary school setting
- Good communication and behaviour management skills
- Understanding of classroom routines and the primary curriculum
- Knowledge of Phonics and Read, Write Inc. is desirable
- Organised, adaptable and enthusiastic
- Must hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
