Role: Year 4 Teaching Assistant
Location: Southport
Salary: £475-£500 per week (dependent on experience)
Working Days: Monday-Friday (8.30am-3.30pm)
Start Date: Monday June 1st
Connex Education is looking for an experienced, adaptable, and proactive Level 2 Qualified teaching assistant to support a Year 4 class in an excellent primary school in Southport.
About the School:
Connex Education have a long-standing working partnership with this amazing primary school located centrally in Southport. The school have a great tradition of taking staff on contract, and potential future opportunities may be available from September 2026.
About the role:
As a primary teaching assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and SENCO to provide tailored support for children in Year 4. The role requires a consistent, reliable, and adaptable TA who can provide general classroom and provide 1:1 support when required.

Qualifications and requirements:
- Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is essential.
- Experience supporting in primary schools is essential.
- Experience supporting children with SEN is desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to adapt to different learning needs.
- It is essential that you have a DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain a new one through Connex.
