Job Title: Lead Early Years Teacher

Location: Lambeth

Salary: Paid to scale according to experience and qualifications

Type: 35 hours a week, Long-term position until July 2027 (potential opportunity to become permanent)

Hours: Mon 8.30-4.30, Tue 8.30-5 (staff meeting), Wed 8.30-4.30, Thu 8.30-4.30 and Fri 8.30-4

Join our team of early years agency workers this role at a lovely local nursery school (more details to follow). We are looking for a passionate and flexible Early Years Teacher to join our vibrant and nurturing team, you will step in to provide high-quality early years education and care, ensuring continuity and consistency for our children on a supply basis.

You will play a key role in creating a warm, inclusive, and stimulating environment that reflects our values of respect, individuality, and cultural diversity in our wonderful nursery school. Working collaboratively with our dedicated team, you will plan and deliver engaging learning experiences that support every child’s development and wellbeing. Additionally, you will have key worker responsibilities, and PPA allowance of a minimum of one day a week.

What we’re looking for:

  • QTS or EYTS (essential)
  • Experience
  • EYFS knowledge
  • Passion for child development
  • Strong communication skills
  • Paediatric First Aid Qualification (preferred but not essential)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a safe, nurturing space for kids aged 2-4.
  • Key worker responsibilities.
  • Overseeing 10-15 early years practitioners.
  • Lesson planning.
  • Participate in engaging activities and educational programs.
  • Work closely with our team in day-to-day operations.
  • Delight children with play and learning activities.
