About the Role
- To work as a Cover Supervisor, supporting across all subject areas (where possible, aligning with the specialisms and experience of the successful applicants).
- Ensuring that the pupils are provided with a safe working environment that allows them to learn effectively.
- Completing lesson reviews that provide the returning staff member with information about the classes that have been covered.
- Following and adhering to the schools safeguarding and behaviour policies.

Person Specification
To be considered for this role candidates must have / be able to demonstrate:
- Degree OR GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above for both or equivalent Functional Skill Level 2)
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills with pupils and staff.
- Approachable, able to build respectful relationships with pupils.
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude towards supporting pupil progress and school life.
- Good literacy & numeracy skills to support learning and classroom administration.
- The ability to maintain a calm, purposeful learning environment.
- Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and professional boundaries within a school setting.
- Adaptable and resilient when working across different subjects and year groups.
- Upholds high standards of professional behaviour, presentation, and integrity.
- Open to professional development and constructive feedback.
- Completed the Connex Education/Academize Effective Cover Supervision training course (access will be provided to all suitable applicants).
- Full enhanced DBS certificate
- Completed the Connex Education Onboarding Process
