Connex Education is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Warrington for a dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Key Stage 1 pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
This is a rewarding full-time opportunity for a caring, patient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who is passionate about helping children reach their full potential.
The Role
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support for a KS1 pupil with SEN.
- Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised learning and support strategies.
- Encourage the child’s academic, social and emotional development.
- Foster a positive, nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
- Support the pupil with engagement, communication and independence throughout the school day.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
- Has previous experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school setting.
- Is patient, adaptable and committed to making a positive difference.
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Can build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
