The Role

As a Primary Teacher, you’ll deliver engaging lessons that inspire pupils to achieve their full potential while creating a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.

Depending on the placement, your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Supporting pupils’ academic progress and personal development
• Managing behaviour in line with school policies and expectations
• Building strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents/carers
• Completing planning, preparation and assessment for long-term assignments
• Playing an active role in the wider school community where appropriate

For the majority of day-to-day supply assignments, lesson planning will already be provided, allowing you to focus on delivering excellent teaching and maintaining continuity for pupils.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Recent experience teaching as the lead classroom teacher within a UK primary school
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Good knowledge of the National Curriculum
• A commitment to supporting pupil achievement and wellbeing
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

We are only able to consider applications from candidates who hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification), have recent experience teaching as the lead classroom teacher within a UK primary school and have the Right to Work in the UK.
