Salary: £13.69 – £14.25 per hour(depending on experience and qualifications)

Working Hours: 5 mornings a week 7:15-8:30 and two evenings a week 3:00pm – 6:00pm

About the Role

Connex Education is working with a Primary School in Bromborough, Wirral, seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant to support in their after school club. You will be working with a variety of age groups from EYFS up to Year 6.

To be successful in this role, you will have excellent team leading skills, be sociable and friendly, calm and nurturing and able to plan and deliver excellent provision suited to a range of ages and interests.

Assignment Details

You would be working Monday – Friday, 5 mornings a week 7:15-8:30 and two evenings a week 3:00pm – 6:00pm.

This is a long term assignment with the potential to be offered a permanent contract.

Person Specification

Qualifications

  • A Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is desirable; however, those with relevant school experience will also be considered.
  • GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above for both) or equivalent Level 2.
  • Current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one through Connex.
