About the role:
Connex Education are working with an outstanding alternative provision provider in Liverpool who cater for KS3 and KS4 pupils. They are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team in September to support pupils who struggle in mainstream Education.

As a TA at this provider, you will be supporting students emotionally, pastorally and academically , helping them to improve behaviour.
Assignment details:
This is a full-time role and will commence in September . This will consist of working Monday-Friday 8.30am until 3.30pm. There is chance of a direct contract for the right candidate. This is ideal for a TA who wants to make a difference in a positive learning environment.

Person specification:
- Experience of supporting pupils with SEMH issues, who struggle in mainstream
- Be understanding and empathetic with the ability to help pupils self -regulate.
- Promoting life skills and empowering pupils by building confidence.
- Be engaging and using a person-centered approach.
- Be willing to work as a team and collaborate with families to implement behaviour management strategies.
- Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
