Are you passionate about supporting children with their behaviour and emotional development? Connex Education is looking for dedicated Behaviour Support professionals to work across primary schools in Weston-super-Mare.

Working across a variety of primary school settings, you’ll have the opportunity to provide tailored support to pupils, helping them manage their behaviour, build positive relationships, and engage confidently in their learning. This is an ideal role for someone who is patient, resilient, and committed to helping young learners thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils with behavioural, emotional, and social needs within primary school settings.
- Work alongside teachers and pastoral staff to help pupils engage positively with learning.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support where required.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
- Help pupils develop strategies to manage their behaviour and emotions.
- Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
- Adapt confidently to different primary school settings and individual pupil needs.

Job Requirements
- Experience supporting children with behavioural needs is desirable.
- Experience working within a primary school or educational setting is beneficial.
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning, development, and wellbeing.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
- Patient, resilient, flexible, and able to adapt to different primary school environments.
- Commitment to equality, inclusion, and diversity.
- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection responsibilities.
