Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (term-time only)
Pay Rate: £100 per day
Person Specification
We are looking for a Cover Supervisor who meets the following criteria:
- Previous experience working with young people (e.g., tutoring, mentoring, youth work, or classroom experience)
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain engagement and behavior expectations
- Confident and adaptable, able to cover a variety of subjects across KS3 and KS4
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with teachers, students, and support staff
- A passion for education and a desire to support students in their learning
- DBS Check: A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to provide a new one
Desirable Criteria
- Experience as a Cover Supervisor or Teaching Assistant in a secondary school
- A degree or relevant qualification in education, childcare, or a related field
- An interest in progressing into teacher training
