Job: Supply Early Career Teacher
Location: Stockport
Pay: £600 to £700 dependent on experience
*QTS REQUIRED*
About the Role
Are you an ECT looking for work in schools to gain more experience?
Connex Education are working with primary schools in Stockport that may need supply, temporary cover on a daily/weekly/termly basis. This can be covering any year group from EYFS up to Year 6. This will be given upon assignment and some schools require you to take prepared lessons with you but some provide the work for you.
For ECT’s it is a fantastic way to get your career kickstarted in teaching! Being on supply can give you an insight on the various schools we work with and it can give you an idea of the type of school you would like to work in on a long term basis.
Pay scale is dependent on experience and level of qualification.

Person Specification
- Have a teaching qualification (BA/PGCE)
- You MUST hold UK QTS
- Experience in schools in the UK
- Be confident in working with potentially challenging behaviour
- Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
