Position: Full-Time Humanities Teacher (KS3 & KS4 Geography)

About the Role
Connex Education is seeking an experienced Humanities Teacher to join our team in the B21 area of Birmingham. This is a full-time role commencing as soon as possible and lasting until the end of the summer term. ECTs and experienced QTS/QTLS teachers are encouraged to apply. Please note that due to full teacher responsibilities, instructors or non-QTS/QTLS candidates will not be considered.
Our client is looking for a committed and enthusiastic teacher who enjoys working as part of a team and is constantly seeking ways to improve their current practice. A positive attitude towards the use of IT is essential, and the successful applicant will possess strong self-organizational skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching across KS3 and KS4 Geography.
Assignment Details
This role will start as soon as possible and will last until the end of the academic year.

Person Specification
• Previous experience working in a challenging secondary school environment is advantageous.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
• Resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• QTS / QTLS or equivalent.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service or prepared to apply for a new one.
• An outstanding practitioner with high expectations.
