Role: Key Stage 2 Teachers
Location: Southport & Formby
Weekly Rate: £700-£900 per week (dependent on experience)
Working Hours: full-time or part-time hours.
Connex Education is currently seeking Key Stage 2 teachers to cover various supply bookings in Southport and Formby from September 2026.
About the School:
Connex Education have a long-standing tradition of supplying teachers to primary schools around Southport and Formby. We work in partnership with over 15 primary schools in the areas and all schools are easily accessible from anywhere in the Sefton area.
About the teaching role:
Schools are seeking organised, and dynamic teachers who can hit the ground running from September. Here is the type of bookings that will be available for you:
- Long-term bookings to cover sickness in KS2.
- Regular PPA cover across KS2.
- Job-share opportunities.
- Temp-to-perm roles – fixed term roles.
- Flexible day-to-day cover.

Qualifications and requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status is essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Desire to make a difference and inspire.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 is essential.
- DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through us.
- Ability to provide 2 references.
