Role: EYFS Teaching Assistants
Location: Southport
Salary: £475-£500 per week
Working Days: full-time or part-time

Connex Education is seeking dedicated, proactive and adaptable teaching assistants for primary schools in Southport from September 2026. A minimum of Level 2 TA or Level 2 Childcare is essential for this role.
About the schools:
Connex Education supply EYFS staff to multiple primary schools in Southport. With inclusive and positive working environments, many of our staff have secured long-term employment in the schools.
About the supply role:
The role will involve providing general support or one-to-one support in Nursery or Reception. Experience working in Early Years and a sound understanding of the EYFS framework is essential for this role. Connex Education will have a range of part-time and full-time roles available from September.

Qualifications and requirements:
- Level 2/3 Early Years qualification (CACHE, Childcare, NNEB ETC) or Level 2/3 TA.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working in EYFS is essential for this role.
- Experience supporting children with special educational needs is desirable.
- The ability to adapt to different learning environments.
- It is essential that you have a DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain a new one through Connex.
