You should have:
- Current or recent MAPA (Management of Actual or Potential Aggression) training.
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND and/or SEMH needs.
- A strong understanding of behaviour support and de-escalation techniques.
- Experience delivering personalised learning, interventions, or educational support.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- A calm, resilient, and adaptable approach.
- The ability to engage learners who may have experienced barriers to education.
Teaching, tutoring, mentoring, youth work, or alternative provision experience is highly desirable.
What We Offer
- Flexible working to suit your availability.
- Competitive hourly pay rates.
- Guaranteed minimum hours and paid preparation time.
- Opportunities to make a lasting impact on young people’s educational journeys.
- Ongoing support from our dedicated Alternative Provision team.
