Salary: £150 – £300 per day, depending on the role | Weekly PAYE pay

About the Opportunity

Connex Education is seeking adaptable and committed Maths Teachers to support secondary schools across Devizes and the wider Wiltshire area from September 2026. We have a variety of placements available, ranging from day-to-day cover to long-term assignments, providing flexibility to suit your circumstances and career aspirations.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with supportive schools and inspire students to develop the mathematical skills they need both inside and outside the classroom.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages participation and achievement.
• Differentiate learning activities to meet the needs of students with varying abilities.
• Track, assess, and report on student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback.
• Support students in developing analytical thinking, numeracy skills, and exam confidence.

About You
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is desirable, although experienced Maths specialists without QTS may also be considered.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for helping students succeed.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A commitment to creating inclusive learning environments where all students can thrive.
• Knowledge of safeguarding responsibilities and child protection procedures.
