About the Role:
Connex Education Partnership is seeking a passionate and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join a welcoming secondary school in Sheffield from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students through engaging language lessons, helping them develop confidence in communication and an appreciation of different cultures.
The successful candidate will deliver high-quality lessons across the MFL curriculum, with the ability to teach Spanish, French, or a combination of languages depending on experience and the school’s requirements. You will be committed to achieving excellent outcomes for students and creating a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Assignment Details:
- Teaching Modern Foreign Languages across the relevant Key Stages.
- Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons.
- Assessing, monitoring, and reporting on student progress.
- Creating a positive classroom environment that supports effective learning.
- Differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all learners.
- Working collaboratively with the wider MFL department and school staff.
- Upholding safeguarding responsibilities and promoting student wellbeing.
- Full-time position commencing September 2026.

Person Specification:
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Have experience teaching Modern Foreign Languages within a secondary school.
- Be able to teach Spanish, French, or both.
- Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.
- Be committed to delivering engaging lessons that inspire student achievement.
- Have strong communication and organisational skills.
- Be passionate about supporting students of all abilities.
- Have a current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one through Connex Education.
