Assignment Details:

• Deliver high-quality Spanish lessons across the relevant Key Stages.
• Plan, prepare, and assess engaging lessons that meet the needs of learners of all abilities.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes excellent behaviour and a love of learning.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and the wider life of the Modern Foreign Languages department.
• Attend staff meetings, parents’ evenings, and school events as required.
• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities and support the wellbeing of all students.

Person Specification:

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Have experience teaching Spanish within a secondary school setting.
• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and a passion for language learning.
• Be an effective classroom practitioner with strong behaviour management skills.
• Be committed to raising student attainment and engagement.
• Possess excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Have a current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one through Connex Education.
