Role: Lunchtime Supervisor / Midday Assistant
Location: Bromborough, Wirral
Salary: £13.69 – £14.25 per hour
Working Hours: Part-time, 12:00pm – 1:15pm, Monday to Friday
Start date: September 2026, on a Temporary to Permanent (TTP) basis.

About the Role
Connex Education is working with a Primary School in Bromborough, who are seeking a friendly and reliable Midday Assistant.
You will be:
- Supervising children during lunchtime and on the playground.
- Ensuring pupils are safe and well cared for.
- Supporting positive behaviour management.
- Engaging with the children and encouraging positive play.
- Working as part of a friendly and supportive school team.
The school is looking for someone who is:
- Confident supervising groups of children.
- Proactive, reliable, and able to keep an eye on the whole playground.
- Friendly and approachable, with good behaviour management skills.
- First Aid trained, or happy to complete First Aid training.

Assignment Details
This is a part-time position, 12:00pm – 1:15pm, Monday to Friday. The role starts September 2026, and is on a temporary to permanent basis. This means that you will work through Connex Education at first, before being given a permanent contract by the school.

Person Specification
- Confident supervising groups of children.
- Proactive, reliable, and able to keep an eye on the whole playground.
- Friendly and approachable, with good behaviour management skills.
- First Aid trained, or willing to complete training.
- Current DBS on the Update Service, or willing to apply through Connex.
- A positive team player with strong communication skills.
- Calm, adaptable, and able to respond to changing situations.
- Punctual, and committed to safeguarding and supporting children.
