Primary Teacher (Year 4)

£750 – £1,115 per week (dependent on experience)

About the Role

Connex Education is seeking a dedicated Year 4 teacher to join a primary school in the NG4 area, starting February 24th, 2025. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive primary school and make a positive impact on children’s learning during a key stage in their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching across the Year 4 curriculum
• Implement engaging lessons focusing on core subjects and foundation subjects
• Support pupils in developing their confidence with multiplication tables
• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with the national curriculum
• Maintain effective assessment and tracking systems
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff members
• Contribute to the wider school community

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Primary teaching experience (NQTs and ECTs welcome)
• Strong classroom management skills
• Good understanding of Lower Key Stage 2 curriculum requirements
• DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain a new one
• Ability to start on February 24th, 2025
