About the Role:
Connex Education are currently working very closely with a group of schools spread across Derby/Derbyshire who are looking for teachers to support them with ad-hoc and long term absences throughout 2025.
About the School:
The schools themselves have a unique feel and each school has its own personality whilst holding the core values of the trust. Each school have their own requirements meaning you will have the opportunity to work flexibly or within one school on going – dependent on what you are looking for.
Assignment Details:
This particular role has varied start dates and you will be able to choose your preferred key stages from EYFS – Year 6. Ideally we are looking for teachers to start ASAP, however you can start later throughout the year if you would prefer.

Person Specification:
- Be confident in your ability to lead a class of children in your preferred age group
- Be able to work well with challenging behaviour.
- Hold strong communication skills both orally and written.
- Punctual and organised
- Willing to undergo continual professional training.
- Be reliable and committed to working within an education environment
- Able to work under pressure effectively and ‘think on your feet’
- Ambitious and enthusiastic with a ‘can do attitude’ and good sense of humour.
