Role: KS1 Teaching Assistant
Location: Bootle, Sefton
Salary: £13-£14 per hour(depending on experience/qualifications)
Working Days: Monday-Friday, 8.30am-3.30pm
Connex Education are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable teaching assistant to join our agency in Liverpool. We are working closely with a fantastic primary school located in Bootle who are seeking a KS1 teaching assistant to join their team.
This role will be working on a full time basis starting ASAP in March 2025. This will be on a temporary basis to Easter in the first instance, but with a view to extend until the end of the summer term for the right person. You will be working with a fantastic team of teachers and support staff, and will have access to a range of training through Connex Education.

Qualifications and requirements:
- Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is desirable but not essential as you can access full training/qualifications with Connex.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to adapt to different learning.
- Experience of the KS1 curriculum. Phonics intervention exprience very desirable.
- It is essential that you have a DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain a new one through Connex.
