Connex Education is looking for dedicated, proactive and adaptable primary teaching assistants who have experience supporting children with special educational needs.
About the Schools:
Connex Education have a long-standing relationship with three primary schools in Formby. The feedback back from staff is always positive and there is an excellent working environment for staff in all three schools.
The primary schools require day-to-day, part-time and full-time staff to cover sickness, course cover and SEN teaching assistants for children who require 1:1 support.
About the role:
As a primary teaching assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support to children with additional needs; small group interventions; and general classroom support. You will have the option of working part-time or full-time.

Qualifications and requirements:
- Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is desirable.
- Experience supporting children with SEN is essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to adapt to different learning needs.
- It is essential that you have a DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain a new one through Connex.
