About The School

The school is part of a larger trust which has specialist SEN schools around the country. The Trust also has other schools in the Nottinghamshire area. This school is non behavioural school and works with pupils from year 7 until post 16

About the role

Connex Education is working with a specialist SEND school based in Mansfield, that are looking for support with their long term supply. The school is wanting experienced SEND teaching assistants to join their team on a full time basis working Monday to Friday with a view to temp to perm employment.

The school will only accept full time applications and with staff wanting to work view a of working temp to perm and not staying on supply. The role will be starting after May half term.

Person Specification

  • Have experience of supporting pupils with in mainstream Schools, SEND Settings or care work supporting vulnerable Adults.
  • Strive for excellence and go the extra mile!
  • Being proactive
  • Be confident in working with challenging behaviour or good understanding of Autism
  • Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
  • Being able to commute to Mansfield and surrounding areas
