Are you passionate about education, confident managing a classroom and ready to make a real difference in secondary schools across Swindon?
Connex Education is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors for a variety of long-term and short-term placements starting from September 2026. We work in partnership with a wide network of secondary schools across Swindon and surrounding areas, offering fantastic opportunities for those looking to build experience, develop their career, or secure flexible school-based work.
Whether you’re looking for a role through to Christmas or a longer placement lasting until July 2027, we have exciting opportunities waiting for you!
Your Role as a Cover Supervisor:
- Deliver pre-planned lessons to classes of up to 30 secondary students
- Maintain positive behaviour and classroom engagement
- Follow school policies and procedures to ensure smooth learning
- Support students in the absence of their regular teacher
- Create a safe, productive, and inclusive classroom environment

What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience is preferred but not essential – full training can be provided
- A genuine passion for education and supporting young people
- Commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one through Connex)
