About the Role
Are you ready to make a real difference as a Teaching Assistant?
Connex Education is working with a primary school based in Birkenhead, on the Wirral, who are seeking a full-time EYFS Teaching Assistant to support in their EYFS classroom, specifically working with children with SEN on 1:1 basis. You will be working with children who are non-verbal and on the pathway to being diagnosed with autism.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience working with children within EYFS -either in a nursery or school setting- and have a good understanding of SEN needs.

Assignment Details
This role runs Monday to Friday (8:30am–3:30pm). The position starts September 2026 and will continue on long term basis.

Person Specification
Qualifications
- GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above for both) or equivalent Level 2.
- Current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one through Connex.
