About the Role
Connex Education is working in partnership with a number of primary schools across DE23 (Littleover and surrounding areas) who are seeking reliable and proactive Teaching Assistants to provide flexible classroom support.
You will support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 on a day-to-day and short-term basis, helping to maintain engagement and support learning throughout the school day.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
- Assisting the teacher in maintaining a positive and well-managed classroom
- Encouraging pupils to stay engaged and make progress in lessons
- Providing general classroom support where required

Person Specification
- Recent UK-based experience working with children (ideally in a school setting)
- Confident supporting pupils one-to-one and in small groups
- Strong communication skills and a calm, patient approach
- Reliable, adaptable, and able to integrate quickly into new environments
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
