About the Role
Connex Education is working in partnership with a number of primary schools across DE24 (Alvaston, Sinfin and nearby areas) who are looking for Teaching Assistants to provide flexible classroom support.
You will be working across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, supporting pupils throughout the school day and helping to create a focused and supportive learning environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
- Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
- Helping to maintain positive behaviour in line with school policies
- Encouraging engagement and participation in learning

Person Specification
- Recent UK-based experience working with children (school-based preferred)
- Comfortable supporting pupils one-to-one and in small groups
- Strong communication skills and a patient, professional approach
- Reliable and able to adapt quickly to new environments
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
