About the Role
Connex Education is working with a number of primary schools across DE22 (Allestree, Mackworth and nearby areas) who are looking to recruit reliable Teaching Assistants for flexible supply work.
You will be supporting across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, helping pupils to stay engaged and access learning in a supportive classroom environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
- Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom routines
- Promoting positive behaviour in line with school policies
- Encouraging pupils’ confidence and participation

Person Specification
- Recent UK-based experience working with children (school-based preferred)
- Confident supporting pupils one-to-one and in small groups
- Strong communication skills and a calm, patient approach
- Reliable and able to adapt to different school environments
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
