SEND Teaching Assistant

Pay: £99 per day (PAYE)

A friendly, inclusive primary school in Enfield is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs including ASD, ADHD and learning difficulties.

The school is a two-form entry primary with a dedicated SEN provision, experienced SENCO and strong behaviour systems. Staff work closely together, and there is a clear focus on inclusion and pupil progress.

The school is easily accessible via local bus routes and has nearby parking.

The Role

• Supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Assisting with learning and classroom activities
• Supporting behaviour and emotional regulation
• Working closely with teaching staff and SENCO

Requirements

• Experience with SEND, care or similar (professional or personal)
• Patient, calm and consistent approach
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Enhanced DBS required.
