Connex Education is delighted to be working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school seeking an experienced Year 1 teacher to join their team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will teach every Thursday and Friday from September until December, providing consistency and high-quality learning experiences for a well-established Year 1 class.
This is a school where inclusion is a genuine priority. You’ll be joining an experienced team that works collaboratively to ensure every child receives the support they need to succeed. The class includes pupils with a range of additional needs, including children with Education, Health and Care Plans, and benefits from dedicated in-class support staff who work closely alongside the class teacher to provide targeted assistance.
Situated within a well-connected residential community, the school is easily accessible from Mansfield, Sutton-in-Ashfield, Hucknall and surrounding areas, with excellent road links making commuting straightforward from across Nottinghamshire.
Vacancy Details
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Significant experience teaching Key Stage 1
• Strong understanding of adaptive teaching and inclusive classroom practice
• Confident supporting pupils with a range of additional learning needs
• Excellent behaviour management and relationship-building skills
• Able to work collaboratively with teachers, support staff and families
Please note: This role is best suited to an experienced teacher. Applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) will not be considered for this position.
