About the role
Connex Education are proud to support NALP Trust in Darlington with their short & long term staffing requirements for the new academic year 26/27.
We are working with primary schools who will require regular cover for Primary Teachers, Teaching Assistants and Support Staff. Opportunties can be full time, part time, or ad hoc days to suit the availability you have.
About the schools
As a Supply Teacher with Connex you will be working with schools based in Darlington who pride themselves aspiration, inclusion, collaboration and empowerment. A collection of schools who has an overaching goal to shape students development into happy, productive and independant adults. As a Primary Teacher you will be covering classrooms, PPA and also working with small groups. There are also tuition and intervention opportunities if interested- call to find out more.
Assignment Details
There are opportunities for Primary Teachers with Connex for cover work from September 2026. We have work to suit those looking for a minimum of 2 days up to full time work and can offer day-to-day, short term or long term cover.

Person Specification
- Qualified Teaching Status
- Have experience of teaching pupils in a primary school setting
- Be confident covering and teaching a full classroom
- Good Knowledge of EYFS/KS1 or KS2 curriculum
- Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one with Connex
