About the Role
Are you a Qualified Primary Teacher?
Connex Education are working with primary schools in Stockport that may need supply, temporary cover on a daily/weekly/termly basis. This can be covering in any KS2 class ranging from Year 3 to Year 6.
To work in these year groups, you must have strong subject knowledge and good behaviour management skills to manage a full class of 30 children. Roles also have the potential to turn long term, in this case, you would be expected to take on the following responsibilities:
- Plan engaging lessons
- Deliver high quality sessions to challenge the pupils
- Assess pupils against the National Curriculum
- Deploy support staff effectively in the classroom
- Liaise with appropriate members of staff/wider community of the school

Pay scale will be dependent on your level of experience and qualification.

Person Specification
- Have a teaching qualification (BA/PGCE)
- You MUST hold UK QTS
- Experience in schools in the UK
- Be confident in working with potentially challenging behaviour
- Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
