About the Role: Science Teacher (KS3 and KS4)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and talented Science Teacher to join our dynamic Science department. The successful candidate will:
- Teach Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Deliver engaging lessons in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
- Prepare students for GCSE examinations
- Contribute to curriculum development and extracurricular activities
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high standards of teaching and learning
Person Specification
Experience:
- Proven track record of successful science teaching at KS3 and KS4 levels
- Experience in preparing students for GCSE Science examinations
- Demonstrable ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific discipline
- PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
Essential Skills:
- Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to use technology effectively to enhance learning
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
