Connex Education is excited to be working with The Flying High Trust, where one of their primary schools is seeking a SEND Teacher.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons that meet the diverse needs of SEND pupils
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress
- Collaborate with teaching assistants and other professionals
- Maintain effective communication with parents and caregivers
- Contribute to EHCP reviews and other statutory documentation
- Create a safe, stimulating, and supportive learning environment
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching SEND pupils
- Strong understanding of SEND Code of Practice
- Excellent behavior management skills
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable Requirements
- Additional SEND qualifications
- Experience with EHCP processes
- Knowledge of alternative communication methods (e.g., Makaton, PECS)
- Experience with sensory integration strategies
