Exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated primary school teacher to join our portfolio for the New Year to work on day to day supply working in various schools throughout Wigan, Greater Manchester.
I am seeking a talented educator to teach students from Reception through Year 6 at our highly-regarded local primary schools. The ideal candidate will have a passion for engaging young minds and helping each child reach their full potential. We will offer you work around your availability and lifestyle. Salary is dependant on experience.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons across core subjects including English, maths, science, and more
- Implement effective behaviour management strategies to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Assess students’ progress and provide regular feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve teaching practices and school programs
- Participate in professional development opportunities to expand your skills
Qualifications and experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification
- Minimum 2 years’ experience teaching in a primary school setting
- Strong subject knowledge and ability to bring the curriculum to life
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to inclusive, creative, and student-centered teaching
