About the role
Connex Education are working with a SEND school in Rochdale, who are looking for a Primary teacher with SEND experience to teach their KS1 class on a full-time basis.
About the school
The school caters for children with autism, SLD, PMLD, physical disabilities and those who are non-verbal. There are 9 pupils per class, along with support from teaching assistants from a strong team. The school focuses on giving children the opportunity to learn as individuals, breaking down any barriers to their learning and celebrates their success at every opportunity. The school are looking for someone who is dedicated and hard-working support each child’s development.
Assignment Details
This role is to start ASAP until Easter half-term.

Person specification
- PGCE with QTS in primary teaching.
- Experience working with children with SEND.
- Has a DBS on the update service or is willing to provide a new one.
- Be committed in making a difference in the children’s lives.
