About the role

Connex Education are working with a primary school in Chesterfield to provide staff for their Early Years department. We are currently seeking an experienced Early Years teacher to work Mondays and Tuesdays. This part-time position offers an excellent opportunity to work with young learners in their foundational years of education while maintaining work-life balance.

Assignment Details

• Fixed days: Mondays and Tuesdays
• Part-time, term-time position
• Focus on Early Years/Foundation Stage
• Potential for ongoing arrangement throughout the academic year

Person Specification

To be successful in this role, you should:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have specific experience teaching in Early Years settings
• Demonstrate excellent classroom management and pastoral care skills
• Be passionate about early childhood development and learning through play
• Have strong communication skills with both young children and parents
• Be able to create engaging, age-appropriate learning environments
• Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain a new one
