About the Role
Connex Education is working with a SEMH school based in Bolton who are looking for an English teacher to start full time up until the end of the academic year covering their KS3/4 classes. They are looking for someone to support the students through their GCSE exams with previous experience teaching GCSE English. SEMH experience is not required, but someone who has experience working with challenge behavior is desired.
About the school
The school itself caters for pupils with SEMH needs, autism & ADHD. Each class has 8 students with 2 learning mentors. The school’s aim is toprovide an environment where all pupils are supported to be the best they can be.

Person Specification
- Experience teaching GCSE English
- PGCE with QTS
- Be confident working with challenging behaviour
- Have a current DBS on the update service, or be willing to provide a new one.
