I am seeking an experienced and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work at a local primary school in Northwich. This is an exciting opportunity to work with children in Key Stage 2 and make a significant contribution to their education and development.
Salary dependant on ecperience
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds HLTA status or an equivalent higher-level teaching assistant qualification
- Has substantial experience working with children in Key Stage 2, ideally in a primary school setting
- Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Shows a strong commitment to supporting children’s academic, social and emotional progress
- Is creative, resourceful and able to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs
- Possesses strong organisational and time management abilities
- Shares our school’s passion for providing a high-quality, nurturing learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality lessons and learning activities under the direction of the class teacher
- Providing targeted support and interventions to help children reach their full potential
- Assisting with the planning, preparation and evaluation of lessons
- Monitoring and assessing children’s progress, and providing detailed feedback
- Promoting positive behaviour and effective classroom management
- Contributing to the broader life of the school through extracurricular activities
