Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location : Sunderland
Full time from February half term
Salary £95 to £115
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons across a range of subjects.
- Provide support to individual students or small groups, tailoring instruction to meet their specific needs and learning styles.
- Lead whole-class activities under the guidance of the teacher, ensuring a smooth and productive learning experience for all students.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behavior, mutual respect, and a love for learning.
- Assist in assessing and monitoring students’ progress, providing constructive feedback to help them reach their full potential.
- Contribute to the planning and organisation of school events, extracurricular activities, and educational outings.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications and experience as a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or equivalent.
- A deep passion for education and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on young learners.
- Strong knowledge of the primary school curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with students, parents, and fellow staff members.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to build strong relationships with students and create a supportive learning environment.
