About the role

Connex Education works in partnership with Flying High Trust primary schools in the Beeston area to provide experienced early years staff.

We are currently seeking dedicated nursery teaching assistants to work with children aged 3-5 years in primary school nursery settings. As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you’ll be supporting early childhood development through play-based learning, helping children develop essential social, emotional, and educational skills in preparation for Reception.

Assignment Details

Roles are available for immediate start, with both short-term and long-term positions on offer within Flying High Trust schools in Beeston.

Person Specification

Previous experience working in early years settings is essential for this role. We are looking for individuals who:

• Have demonstrable experience working with children aged 3-5 years
• Understand the EYFS framework and child development
• Are passionate about early years education
• Have excellent communication skills with both children and adults
• Can create engaging, age-appropriate activities
• Are able to observe and document children’s progress
