Daily Rate: £130-£160 per day
Working Hours:
– Full-time: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm (February Half Term to Easter).
– Part-time: 3 days per week, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm (Easter to the end of the academic year).
Are you an enthusiastic Key Stage 2 teacher with experience teaching Year 3?
Connex Education is seeking a committed and adaptable Year 3 teacher to join a ‘Good’ two-form entry school in the South Sefton area. This maternity cover role offers a fantastic opportunity to make an impact in a supportive school community.
About the Role
As a Year 3 teacher, you’ll play a vital role in guiding students through their transition into Key Stage 2. You’ll deliver engaging lessons, tailor learning to meet diverse needs, and foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment. Effective classroom management and strong communication with parents/carers will be essential.
This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on pupils’ academic and personal growth while collaborating with a dedicated team and accessing opportunities for professional development.
Please be aware this position begins after February Half Term as a full-time role and transitions to a part-time schedule from Easter until the end of the academic year.

Qualifications and Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Effective classroom management skills.
– Experience teaching primary-aged children, particularly in Year 3.
– DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Connex).
– Ability to provide two professional references.
