Job Title: SEND Teaching Assistant

Pay: £85 to £95 Per Day (Depending on Experience)

Connex Education is working with the Bridge Street School based in Derby who are recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to work on a full-time basis.
About the school
As a Special School and a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU), we offer a variety of specialist provision from Reception to Year 11. They are looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant to support students with their educational journey and provide a safe space for all students to reach their full potential.
Assignment Details
This SEND Teaching Assistant role is to start in the new academic year term and is an ongoing assignment, Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 3:30PM.

Person Specification
- Have experience of supporting pupils with Special Needs, either in a school or a similar setting.
- Be willing to provide personal care.
- Be confident in working with challenging behaviour.
- You must have a current enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to provide a new one.
