About the role:
Connex Education are working with a SEND High School in Wirral who are recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team.
About the School:
This purpose built SEND School caters for pupils aged between 11 and 19 with a range of complex needs including Autism, PMLD and SLD. The School has 2 sites and provides pupils with a high quality education in a stimulating and highly engaging learning environment.
Assignment details:
The role will consist of supporting pupils in the ASD department and will commence asap. This is a full-time role working Monday-Friday 8.30am until 3.30pm. The role will last until the remainder of the academic year.

Person specification:
- Experience of supporting pupils with SEND either in a School or residential setting as a support worker.
- Be willing to provide personal care.
- Confident in dealing with challenging behaviour
- The ability to build relationships with staff and pupils.
- Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
